Stuart S. Aronovitch, a partner with Heenan Blaikie, is a member of our Labour, Employment and Human Rights Law group.
His practice involves virtually all areas of labour, employment and human rights law, with particular emphasis on employment law issues, restrictive covenants, confidentiality agreements and employment standards.
Mr. Aronovitch provides strategic advice and counsel to a variety of small, medium and large businesses with respect to the management of their human resources, including advising on workplace restructuring and dismissals and the drafting of complex agreements.
Mr. Aronovitch is an experienced litigator, who has represented clients before a wide range of courts and administrative tribunals, including the Commission des relations du travail, the Superior Court of Quebec, the Court of Appeal of Quebec and the Supreme Court of Canada. Among other things, he has litigated a variety of cases relating to wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, privacy issues and injunctions to enforce restrictive covenants and confidentiality agreements.
He also regularly advises clients on the labour and employment aspects of commercial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, having acted as lead counsel on significant transactions of this nature.
