Amélie Bélisle is a member of the Labour and Employment Law Group. Her practice encompasses all aspects of this field, and she is particularly interested in matters related to occupational health and safety, labour relations, both at collective and individual levels, employment standards as well as human rights.
Ms. Bélisle also holds an undergraduate degree (with high distinction) in industrial relations. Her background enabled her to develop an understanding of the diverse issues related to human resources management. Before starting her legal career, Ms. Bélisle held various positions at the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail from 2004 to 2007.
Ms. Bélisle joined Heenan Blaikie in 2009 after having worked as a student and completed her articling at another major law firm in Montreal.
