Laurent Lesage focuses his practice on labour law as well as on access to information and privacy law. He co-authored Le contrat de travail en vertu du Code civil du Québec (Labour Contracts under the Civil Code of Quebec) published by Les Éditions Yvon Blais Inc., 1994, and has written numerous articles on labour relations particularly on the right of privacy in the employment field and the pre-contractual disclosure obligations for employer and employment applicant.
Mr. Lesage has been a speaker at conferences organized by the continuing education section of the Association du Barreau du Québec and at the Barreau du Québec convention. He has also taught labour law at McGill University’s Faculty of Law.
Laurent Lesage joined Heenan Blaikie in 1988 after working for one year with a Quebec City law firm.
