Representation of Bayfield Realty Advisors Inc. with respect to the sale of the shopping centre known as "Place-des-Quatre-Bourgeois" in Sainte-Foy, Québec (June 2012).
Representation of General Dynamics Canada with respect to the negotiation of agreements entered into with AMT regarding the site development of part of the Train de l’est facilities on a munitions plant in Le Gardeur, Québec (2008 to 2011).
Representation of the Régie des installations olympiques de Montréal with respect to the negotiations and transactions related to the Saputo Stadium layout.
The conversion of an industrial plant into condominiums in Lachine (2008-2010).
Representation of a lender with respect to the financing of Faubourg Contrecœur in Montreal, which, when completed, will hold 1,850 residential units (April 2009).
Representation of The Atwater Club with respect to its 2004 acquisition of the building once home to The Club Med, in order to develop the Mansfield Athletic Club (Sainte-Catherine and Mansfield, in Montreal).
Supervision of the real estate portion of the acquisition by SNF Canada Limited of a production plant in Trois-Rivières from owner Raisio Polymer Plant – (2002).
Supervision of the real estate portion of the acquisition by Honeywell of Aube Technologies inc. ($145M) – (2004).
Participated in the monetization of a sponsorship contract between the Montreal Canadiens, the John Hancock Life Insurance Company and Bell Canada with respect to the Bell Centre ($100M).
Public-Private Partnerships
CHUM Teaching Hospital. Ms. Sylvestre has advised the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM) with regard to the design, financing, construction and operation of a new 772-bed teaching hospital in downtown Montreal, pursuant to a public-private partnership($1.5 billion +).
A-30 highway. Advised a major contractor with regard to its acquisition of an interest in the construction joint venture, in a public-private partnership for the design, construction, financing and operation of a 30-kilometre toll highway in the Montréal region ($1.5 billion).
RCMP “E” Division Headquarters. Advised the service provider in a consortium bidding to design, finance, construct and operate a new divisional headquarters for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Energy
Supervised the real estate component of the sale of a major power generating plant in Quebec.
Great Lakes Hydro Income Fund. Ms. Sylvestre advised the Independent Committee of Great Lakes Hydro Income Fund on electricity-related matters with respect to its acquisition of 15 hydroelectric power plants and a wind farm project from its principal shareholder, Brookfield Renewable Power Inc., for consideration of $945M.
